St. Anthony of Padua

We are all called to be saints; to be holy and live for Christ as his body in the Church.  However…. some are better at it than others.  St. Anthony of Padua is a total ROCKSTAR of a saint.

St. Anthony

Padova is known as Padua in the English language.  Padova was the final home and is the final resting place of one of the greatest saints in all time, St. Anthony of Padua.  Among other things, St. Anthony is the patron saint of the lost.  I am perhaps the best at losing things.  Hey, you’ve got to be good at something.  My inclination for losing things is how I began to form a love for St. Anthony.  His life of living out his faith only deepened it.  I traveled to Padova for a personal devotion and petition for a specific intercession.  I came away with a great peace.  Here is a bit more about this amazing saint.  God really outdid Himself the day he formed St. Anthony.
